Lee says: These are NOT the ones you remember from the 1990s! Those ones would get bloody stuck and there's still various ones hanging out of Taipan Wall and other cliffs around the country. This is a redesigned product by a new company and they are easy to use and reuse.
Joe Kinder says: "What they are used for is to aid up a wall from the ground, or get into a minimally featured wall that is really steep. All you do is drill a hole less than an inch deep and slot the 1/2 inch RB. You use the RB as aid, get a bolt in where needed and proceed. The only maintenance is that you fill the RB hole later on. And I have still NEVER had one blow. And they NEVER get stuck!!! Love it."
REDESIGNED MODEL NOW AVAILABLE! New features include; cable stiffener, bigger trigger and one piece cleaning bushing.
ClimbTech’s climbing anchors are safe, efficient, and easy to use. The ½” RB Anchor does not require costly engineered inserts, and can be placed in horizontal, vertical, or overhead/ceiling surfaces. RB Anchors can be removed and reused at any desired location.

Lee's note: This is designed for a ½” hole which equates to 12.7mm. This means those of us living in metric-land will have to drill with either a ½” bit or a 13mm bit. You can get 13mm bits from Bunnings for $20.
