TIGER LACE

Asymmetric lace up model. Far from a beginner shoe, this has been designed for difficult routes where you have two requirements: precise footwork and no pain (i.e. multipitches, long, hard, trad & sport) 

Where it shines: An allrounder, good for trad, general sport and face climbing. If you had to choose just one pair of shoes, this could be them.

• Upper 100% microfibre (low stretch), this asymmetric lace up system can accomodate different shapes of foot; system created by Andrea Boldrini since 1996.
• Full rand with slingshot to increase support, relaxed heel cup to avoid discomfort.
• Rigid insert to give good support on multipitch routes and to enhance precise footwork (also a good choice for heavier climbers).
• Sole with internal edge

Lee's comments:

• This is a really cool shoe. Fairly flat last for all-rounder use, but nicely (and not radically) aysymetric toebox to get you using your big toe effectively, and supported with AB's aysym lacing system.
• The tongue is stretchy delicious neoprene/synthetic for uber comfort
• The heel is just sooo much better than you would hope to expect from your all-rounder laceup. Really nicely cupped (but not overdone producing air pockets); full rubber coverage on heel.
